The Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FTAN) said it was set to hold an investors forum to find ways of promoting local tourism destinations. Mr Tomi Akingbogun, the Vice President of the Association, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja that the forum was also aimed to highlighting the tourism potentials in different zones of Nigeria for investment opportunities. He said the forum would help to strengthen the relationship between tourism investors and their service provides, showcase tourism and hospitality products available in the country. It will also seek to establish contact between the products, service providers and their users. According to Akingbogun, the forum tagged: ``Nigeria Tourism Investors Forum and Exhibitions'' was in collaboration with the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).
He said there were many tourists’ attractions in the country such as game reserves and parks, amongst others, which many foreign tourists were not aware of.
