Government Cancels Abuja Carnival 2017

Nigeria's Federal Ministry of Information and Culture has today announced the cancellation of this year Abuja Carnival. The event would now hold in November 2018. This revelation was made in a brief internal memo presented to national agencies, departments and other States Ministry of Culture and Tourism, at the on-going 9th National Council on Tourism, Culture and National Orientation holding in Dutse Jigawa State. The Ministry said the event was cancelled due to "logistical challenges".
